Default Torque management rears it'* ugly head again....twice.

Both DHP and INTENSE PCM'*. I hit TM in 2000SilverBullet between 105 and 110 mph (DHP PCM). PontiacDad verified it, and 2000SilverBullet also hit it in Pdad/Pmom'* 2000 with the INTENSE PCM.

Scott, is this a known thing, or something you're working on? It stumbles and dumps boost if you're running WOT at that point.

You should have swapped pcms, im betting the 105-110 thing is a dhp problem in the pcm. More stuff is being found all the time with pcms for bonnies, gtps, regals, montes etc...what did the TM feel like in Pdads car?

Also wondering if the higher shift points are making the car fall on it'* face at 6K rpms with out rockers or cam, falling out of the power band

I don't do much +100 mph driving but I did the other day and didn't notice any 110 slowdown or anything, just keep pulling.

BOTH cars had exactly the same TM effects. And both at the same speed. One PCM is DHP, the other is INTENSE.

Please email an Autotap log so we can help analyze the problem. It may not be your PCM at all...

Scott, both of those cars are enroute to BC,

They'll see this when they get there. Thanks for popping in here!

Scott
I will try and get some logs for you, I have pulled beyond the 110 in the past and thought heat maybe playing havoc with us. Many pulls that night with various driving styles.

During the races I had bypassed my Boost control solenoid, so the computer could not dump boost. It worked and I kept pulling strong up past 110 mph after the end of the 1/4 mi.

After the race I reconnected the wheel speed sensors and the boost control solenoid. That'* when we took turns doing 0-110 mph runs up our private roadway.

I also hit it once on the highway at about 120 mph.

I have now bypassed the boost solenoid again and will take it for another run soon.

Victor noticed the boost gauge pulsating from +9 psi boost to 0 when the limiter hit at around 5300 rpm in 2nd. It pulls nice and strong in 1st gear to 6,000 rpm in both cars.

That'* exactly what I experienced in the Bullet. She dumped boost at 105 mph, and stumbled. Pulled hard all the way up to that point. Even when I was drifting sideways in the gravel.
