rear suspension problem?
Hi,
my car seem lower on right side on back, its clearly visible from back of car, the ride is still confortable but the inside on my rear right tire begin to wear.
can it be the ELC thing that i dont know anything about?
any help of some sort will be greatly appreciated.

I would expect that both sides would be low if the leveling control was a problem. The tire wear would not likely be caused by it either. You may have more than one problem. You can check and see if the shock is leaking any oil down the outside, and check the spring. Those would be the most likely culprits (other than a misloaded trunk) for it being low on one side. The wear could be caused by an alignment problem, or other suspension parts (ball joint, alignment link, etc) being defective.

Have you looked at the coil spring on the right rear side for any irregularity? Also might want to look at the rear stabilizer & stabilizer links.

ok, 2 days ago i check for leaking shock when i got my High perf. cat installed, but i didnt saw anything leaking, everything seem normal, sometime the car is lower sometime it look not too low. strange..
for advice, if i found nothing wrong ill go to dealer.

rear shocks
Sort of on the same subject : Back in the day, if a car had factory air shocks, no brand of replacement would hook up to the stock air lines but Delco. If you used any other brand, (Monroe, Gabriel, etc.) , you had to use their line kit, which didn't mate to the on board compressor. Anything changed, or will I have to go to Delco when I need shocks?

I'd recommend going with the Monroe for replacements. I ordered some for mine, and I thought he was ordering the Monroe for me. I was surprised when I got them and they were not Monroe, and even looked quite different from the orignals. I decided to try them anyway.
I ran into the problem of them wanting the air lines and connections all replaced. After looking it over I was able to just added the larger O rings to the strut end and get a good seal. The ride however is something else. I like a nice stiff suspension, but these over do that. It'* like riding in a buckboard. I checked the ride height before and after, and it'* the same. I also doubled checked with a friends 2000 SSEi.
I've tried Gabriels and didn't like them...too soft. Like Goldilocks, I've found Monroe'* to be "just right". I've been disappointed any time I've tried something else. The Monroes also were always a perfect fit.
