The same with the right brake light...when i hit the brakes it lights up fine but when I'm not on the brakes no lights.....i took the volt meter and checked the currents and it shows I'm not getting power to my black wire...now guys how can i replace this wire or trace this wire and where does it even end at. the blacks are grounds. start at the bulb end see if the socket has power, then work back, see if the wire has power if you pierce the insulation by the socket and so on until you find where you lose power

signal you are tracng starts at interment panel fuse marked lp pk r(check fuse with meter and wiggle to see if getting good contact), spits inside the fuse panel to two brown/white wires one splits in the underhood fuse block and goes to the front marker and one side of the turn signal, still brown/white. other from ip splits into 5 at the rear block.the one you are concerned with is the brown/white to the side marker or the one combined tail/turn/brake turns purple before it hits the socket.
