Default Cold weather, power steering issue

When i turn my wheels and my car is idling, the steering wheel makes a funny noise. (for example, when i am turning around in a driveway the car turns normally not any harder to turn, but it makes a funny pulsing sound. I wasn't sure if it was due to the temperature dropping significantly.

My car tends to have the power steering make a bit more noise in the cold if that means anything to ya...

What do you mean by pulse? Is this something you feel at all, or just hear, or both?

--Now is a good time to check power steering fluid level...just for starters.

Sounds like it could be the intermediate steering shaft. For some reason, they seem to get worse during the colder weather.
