Default Traction control question

Hey everyone newbie here, I own a 2000 Bonneville SE. I was curious if there is anyway to shut off the traction control on these cars. Thanks in advance!

Are you sure you have traction control? You should have a button to do that.

I guess I just assumed I did. When there is snow on the road and I step on the gas, the tires will spin for a split second and its like the engine will kill until it gets some traction and the low traction light comes on...

Dunno if it helps you, but on my wife'* 2004 LeSabre the Traction Control on/off button is at the end of the on-the-column shift lever.

If your Bonneville has Traction Control, it has a button labeled T/C. Turning it off will defeat most of it, pulling one of the front wheel speed sensors a little more. I've been looking at a positraction differential to end the torment once and for all.
