I'm looking for a Fram cabin air filter CF8804. I called the Pontiac dealer and they said around $60. with the bracket. I tried Advance Auto and all they have are puralators with no frame. Can anyone tell me where'* the best place to purchase a Fram CF8804. Thanks, Bob. Pgh. Pa.

I have not heard of anyone using that company personally, but that doesn't mean they haven't.

Do you know if you have the frame in there for the cabin air filter or not? If you do, just get the replacement. if you do not, then you'll need one with the frame.

you should be able to just buy the filter not the plastic piece the filter sits in. I luckily work at a major chain and bought mine at cost not retail price. Bout 6 bucks. I think you can buy one thats a paper particulate and a charcoal particulate. The paper is way cheaper.

GM are pirartes with parts prioces, never byu this type of item from them. I got mine for less than $20, Not concerned about the brand.

The Fram CF8804 comes with the plastic frame (at least it did a couple years ago). After that, you can just buy the cheap element.

I checked last time I replaced mine and found the Purolator was made in the USA. The Frams, despite the charcoal layer or scent, was made foreign. I bought the Purolator at PepBoys.
