Default What is this??

I took this bracket off my car when I was replacing the rear valve cover gasket and never put it back on. I'm taking the car in tomorrow to have some tranny work done and I'm wondering now if maybe it'* an engine lift point that the shop might need to use. Looks a little too light weight to me to be that, but I'm not sure.

These look more likely to be engine lift points to me, can someone confirm that for me?

Thanks,
Corey

Thanks Toasty, I was hoping someone would say that. It'* dark now and I wasn't looking forward to trying to put that bracket back on in the dark! And not having to do that makes me happy!!!

It'* not a lift point, those other pictures define those. It'* too thin, but anyhow, it bolts up to the exhaust and comes up above the valve cover closest to the firewall. If you want to put on the "3800 Supercharged" cover, you better get it back on there.. Pat
