Default Harsh Ride?

Hi, this is my first post on the wesite. I own a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SE, with currently 107,000 miles. Around 95K, after new tires, the car started to drive extremely rough over cracks, dips, and holes in the road. I brought it to Pepboys recently and found that the tires were cupping and that I needed new front struts. Now after, new front struts, and new front brakes, the car is driving the same way as before. Any suggestioins?? Also, it feels as though the steering column is loose and vibrates sometimes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

can you pinpoint where the rough ride is originating? Is it coming from the front, or the rear?

If the tires are cupped..that could be a source for some of what you are feeling. They should wear down and the cupping can go away.

On the steering feeling you have..that could be the intermediate shaft that is a known issue. Some grease it..others have had it replaced. However I'm not sure..one of the people with more experience will be able to give you more information.

As far as pinpointing the problem, it is definitely in the front of the car.

Does the sensation get worse depending on which way you turn the wheel?
Try turning while going over a parking lot speed bump, both left and right, does it seem worse one direction or the other?
Could be a wheel bearing, at 107k I would suspect one or both bearings are bad. Have you had the changed out before?
I lost the drivers side at 50k and the passenger at 65k, drivers again at 110k and suspect the passenger side this summer.
