Are stock spark plug wires labeled "Packard"
My gas mileage isn't quite what it should be and I'm wondering if I have still the stock wires and plugs (I recently bought the car used). My wires say Packard on them, as well as a number 1-6 depending on the cylinder.
From this description, can you tell if these are the stock ones?
At 95k miles, if the they are it'd be time to replace them and the plugs.

Packard Electric (a.k.a. Delphi Packard, Delco Packard) supplied the originals, but they also sold the same sets as replacement parts.
As a historical footnote/trivia: They are related to the Packard Motor Car company...about 100 years ago they were the parent company founded by the Packard Brothers in Ohio. Packard Motor Car split away and eventually died a quiet death in the 1950'*, while Packard Electric was absorbed into Delco.

Yeah you've got a point that the previous owner could have used oem equipment to replace. I guess one way I'll tell is to pull a plug from an easy to get to cylinder and see what the plug looks like. The wires aren't that dirty....but when I got the car, the engine bay and everything in it was sparkling clean, so it'* hard to say how old they are.
