bad water pump?
DId part of the major tune up this weekend, fuel filter, turned the rotors (the guy at the shop said they weren't even bad, however i put them back on and absolutely no pulse what so ever), and belts. However when i had the belts off i decided to check the water pump. I can wiggle the pulley back and forth, i'm assuming this means that the bearings are going on the inside?? I know that on my truck when the water pump went I could move it back and forth and there was some slop in there. There isn't alot but it'* definately noticeable. Is it time or is this normal? I don't see any coolant leaking when i park, however I am loosing it, but i don't see it buring on the block anywhere and leaving those white marks it usually leaves.

Is the play up and down, side to side or in and out?
You may have a little evaporation if its not leaking anywhere? Is there any noise at idle from the water pump?

of course not.....procrastination is my weakness. That and I have about zero time to do this. But it will be done soon, I can see it starting to weep around the shaft.
