tune up time!
Having a little rough idleing lately and since it'* due anyways it'* time for a tune up. Got the lift for the weekend @ my dads and plan on doing the following (provided the wires show up from 3800performance!)
NGK Plugs (1 range colder)
Red PRJ Performance wires
Fuel Filter (it'* only been 62,000 w/o a change )
MSD Ignition Coil Packs (not completely needed but prolly should be done if i plan on moddin the rest?).
Any other suggestions?? Should be a fun weekend!

You dont need the MSD packs, the stockers are hot enough even for heavy modding. You may want to look at PCV, airfilter, cabin airfilter, coolant flush, tranny flush, filter change, SC oil flush/refill, tire rotation, brake inspection, SC belt and serpentine belt inspection, oil change, etc.. since you have the rack and all.

Last weekend I removed and throughly cleaned the throttle-body on my SE. Took a few hours and cost less than $10 to do. That includes a new t/b gasket, t/b cleaner and 3 new mounting nuts (I used the replacement nuts found in the leaky antifreeze recall).
Cerntainly more work involved than what you already have planned but well worth it. My unit has 60K on it and had black colored desposits garlore on the backsize of the t/b. After cleaning, the throttle response and power were greatly improved.

However, i was under the impression that the coolant was fine until 150,000? or is that just GM b/*'n us?

The Dexcool looks fine, however I do keep loosing it. I did read the TSB about the intake bolts, however there are no stains around the bolts or anything like it would be leaking. And the oil looks pretty good when i change it (i do it myself). One more thing...where is the PCV valve located?
My rotor problems have been so on going. I have already done the fronts twice and the rears once...It'* very frustrating actually. After I replace them the car will brake fine for a few months and then slowly the car starts shaking more and more each time I brake. It'* especially noticed at highway speeds. Since i do the brakes myself i haven't noticed any calipers sticking or anything when i retract them. Is there something else i should look for or am i just getting **@t rotors?

We have had good reports on these rotors.

Two sets of front rotors with such low mileage makes it sound like you have another problem. Mine still operate like brand new but I have far less miles on them than you. If I were you, I would take it into a certified brake shop and have the entire system checked.

Hey did you order the big fat PRJ wires, like 10mm thick. Just curious?
