Ignition switch replacement

I'm tired of having to fiddle around with the ignition key in order to get the switch to rotate. Since it does this on both keys, I'm assuming that the issue is in the switch. Has anyone done this and if so, what's involved?

This should give you some idea.

Thanks. I think I'll either have the mechanic that I use for things I don't want/can't do such as AC work or the dealer do the work. I'm just afraid that one of these days, my fiddling won't work and I'll be stranded.

All is good. I realized that the problem was much worse when the car was cold and figured that maybe the mechanism was sticking inside due to the cold. Figuring that I had nothing to lose, I shot some Lock-Ease in there and it now works good as new.
