Sunroof deflector
I kept the sunroof deflector when I traded the G6 in on the SSEi. I was going to sell it on eBay but before I did, I tried it on the Bonne and it fits. Does anyone think it will let water in where it mounts? I put dieIectric grease on the sunroof weather strip where it meets the brackets as a precaution.

Even if it did leak a small amount, that should not be a problem as long as the drain tubes are not plugged up. While your sunroof is open, I would poor a small amount of water around track to see if it goes out through each of the drain tubes and onto the ground. If it does then you'll have no worries about a small amount of water that may seep through when the moon roof is closed, or partially open, when it'* raining.

Drain is in wheel well behind plastic at rear of front wheels for the front ones.Rear drains I imagine are in wheel well in front of wheel, not 100 % though on rears

Correct. The drains go down your A and C pillars. If you look up there with the roof open, you'll see the drain openings for the front in the front forward corners.

There is no noticeable buffeting with the roof open.
There already is a small deflector that pops up to prevent turbulence.
What benefit is it.
