$100-$120 is about the expected amount around here as well.

My goto mechanic has a fluid replacement machine. It'* not a flush. But it does replace 100% of the fluid. About $100 w/fluids and filter

does it replace the filter? If not, go the standard route and replace the filter and 6-7 quarts of the fluid and the tranny will be better off and your wallet will be heavier. There'* a reason all the shops jumped on the total replacement bandwagon.

That could be. I use pretty steep ramps, and where I do it is also on a slight incline. I also let things drain a while I'm off cleaning everything up.
I let mine drip over night (sat for 15 hours with the pan off) and still only managed to get 5.5 quarts out.

a fluid replacement machine is the same as a flush machine, it all depends on how much new fluid goes into the system, you can replace as little or as much as you like by just adding more into the new fluid tank the new fluid is replaced over again. But by general definition, fluid replacement is the same thing as a flush

with a full flush, is a detergent run through also. He was very specific saying it wasnt' a flush.

I would be interested to know how different shops "handle" the filter in a fluid flush.......Have seen it handled 2 ways....

1. Flush fluid out, and the new fluid has additives in it.....no filter replacement...

2a. Fluid is flushed, then the pan is dropped, fluid captured in a clean receptacle, filter replaced, fluid re-used.......fluid level topped off.

2b. Fluid is flushed, then the pan is dropped, fluid is drained , filter replaced, and new fluid added.....fluid level topped off....
