Unhappy How Do I Change My Fog Lights?

I know it'* kind of a Duh question but...

Both of the fog lights in my 02 SE have been out for almost a year now. The other day when I went to get a replacement bulb for a headlight that just went out, I decided I would go ahead and pick up a couple replacement bulbs for the fog lamps too.

Unfortunately, changing the fog lights was not as straight forward for me as changing my headlight. I didn't see any access to the bulb from below the car or from under the hood. I tried twisting and pulling on the assembly to try to get it out, but it didn't budge. Almost felt like I was going to break the fog light assembly.

So how exactly do I go about replacing these fog light? What am I missing?

Thanks for the help.

It'* easy I just did both of mine. Lay on your back reach under the bumper use a flashlight. They have a bayonette mount. When they are out unplug and plug in the new bulbs to the wires and replace them. Took me 5 minutes to do both on my 2002 SLE. Be careful not to mess with the aiming screws. Just take the bulbs out and replace. Wipe the bulbs with a cloth if you touch them before you replace them.

Don't remove the air dam. Don't try from the top. Lay on your back, reach up, grasp the bulb housing and turn it counter clockwise. If you can't get enough leverage to turn it, there are flats on the base of the bulb you can use an open end wrench on. Use your new bulb to determine which wrench fits best.

yah it does, I've taken it off before but GM had a great idea to use the clips that the centers pull out of to remove them, I think there were about 10-12 and I ended up putting 6 back just beacuse I had to break some to get them out
