Default Heated Seat Switch Replacement Bulb?

The passenger side heated seat switch in my '01 SE does not light up. Is there a way to replace the bulb or should I just replace the whole switch? The HI/LO part still lights up, but the actual switch with ON/OFF does not. Any suggestions?

hans might be able to tell you what kinda bulb is in there, but i think it would be well worth your money to just buy a new one, considering all the time you would put into replacing just the bulb... how tech savy are you?

fyi.. the switch is like $30 new from the dealer, and cheaper on www.gmpartsdirect.com

Im confused about something... do the switches themselves have lights in them? I thought only the words HI & LOW and the indicator lights next to them light up. Is that right?

I think that was your question...

removal of the dash bezel and the trim plate that holds the switches

hawkjet has a nice writeup that contains this information with pictures: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=84354

There isn't a simple 'relay' as such. There is an entire module for each seat. You're best off starting a new thread for this. This one is quite old and doesn't really address your specific concern.
