Default Belt Tensioner Pulley

Is the smooth pulley on the tensioner (#3 on the right side of the pic below) replaceable or do I have to buy the whole tensioner assembly? The pic appears to have a hex head bolt on it but mine has a Torx head. I was installing my MPS from INTENSE last night and noticed the tensioner pulley was VERY hard to turn.

I replaced the pulley only. I believe it was $12 at Advance Auto. Non supercharged of course. It has revere threads on the bolt that held it in...

Please..put down the potato gun and stop shooting spuds from the hip.
Two seconds on Advance'* website shows 3 tensioner assemblies available. Been available almost as long as tensioner have been on cars. It'* called replacement parts buddy.

Now..back to the topic, you can replace only a pulley or the whole assembly. Ensure if you buy an assembly that it comes with a pulley.

Speaking from personal experience, I shoulda checked on the tensioner.

When I needed a tensioner for the 93 I was NOT able to get one at SCHUCKS or Autozone. The eversohelpful guy behind the counter told me they do not sell belt tensioners period. Obviously he was not informed correctly and I just passed on the misinformation.

I just did some homework and it looks like Advance/Shucks/Checker is carrying every tensioner now.

Knecht'*, NAPA, and CarQuest also carry the tensioners. For both Series of Bvilles.

Indeed, the SC tensioner/ICM/Coils bracket is different on a Bonneville compared to the W-body application shown in the picture. I also have hex head bolts, but only these two, both are LEFT hand thread on mine. All the other pulleys have bolts with a 15mm bolt and are RIGHT hand thread.

Cheers,

The tensioner pulley shown here with a 15mm bolt, as #3 is also a left hand thread.
