Does this O2 sensor look right?
I ordered an ACDELCO AFS109 oxygen sensor online.
The new one does not look like the one on the car. It also doesn’t look like the picture on AC Delco web site.
Original one is stamped AC AFS109 but the new one does not have a manufacturer name stamped on it - only the numbers 5360 02K12 and "Assembled in USA".
This is the one before the cat on the ’00.
Has anyone else seen this difference?
Is there a problem that it does not have AC Delco name or number on it?

Technical Ted – You're right. It does look just like the Denso picture.
Tinindian – I thought I was getting an image of the one on the right before, but now Delco web site does not have an image of the part.
Agrazela – Came in the box shown from a reputable online parts store that I have previously used several times before. They are very willing to resolve any problem if there is one.
Their response is that Delco does not always have their name or numbers on their parts and as long as it threads in and plugs in it should be OK.
I have never seen a Delco electrical part without the AC Delco or Delphi name and number on it.
I also bought a Delco strut mount for the ’93 on the same order and it does not have a single number or letter on it – but I figured that was more normal for a suspension component.
Denso is half the price of the ACDelco :?

It looks just like the Denso I put in mine, it also had no makings I can recall. Your old one looks just like the stocker I took out & it had AC stamped on it.

I puchased one like that from an ebay seller (Delphi new old stock) . It lasted a aout 3 days the then I got an 02 sensor trouble code. The seller will replace it but I will go back with one that looks like the original ( Delco or Bosch )
