Solid Motor Mount Installed Today...Very Happy!
Well I finally got around to making and installing my motor mount today (used the hockey puck mount.) The awesome thing about this is it'* taken care of the poor idle/stumble I've been experiencing since I had the VS cam installed. The stock mount was in fine condition and the car felt like it was missing almost constantly. Now if feels almost stock. I feel slightly more vibration through the steering wheel, but other than that it'* fine.
I'm going to be heading out and doing some scanning with my PT to see if this cured some mysterious KR I've been experiencing.
Thanks to the guys that figured this out. Great, cheap, effective mod.

I had a chance to drive some more and I'm pretty happy. I did notice more vibration in the steering and floorboard on light acceleration in the 1.5K to 2K RPM range. I'm going to try and do some tinkering to see if I can find away to suppress it.
BTW - I got the same brand of pucks at Sports Authority for .99 cents each. They had them in black.

Nice, just make sure they have the same strenght, i used them because they stay "soft" in winter, they cant break.
And, for the vibration, you can try to cut the side of a truck tire and put it there, it will probably eliminate those slight vibration. Just make sure it doesnt exceed too much the height of your stock mount.

i have those vibrations, but i can live with that.
One day, ill try to change one puck by something a little softer, like a tire sidewall.
