Default alignment prob???

i recently had a four wheel alignment, but no tire rotation, and have noticed that the outside of the front passenger tire (exposed side of the tire) is damn near worn bald. this is the only tire that has any signs of bad wear. any suggestions as to what this could be? i put the car in the ditch over the past winter and had to replace front bumper, lower air dam, and both wheel wells. had an alignment done then also, but they did not state any other problems. any help would be appreciated.

My best suggestion is to take it back to where you got the alignment done, but maybe check a couple things yourself first. Jack the corner up by the A-arm, and check for any play or wobble in that wheel. You may have a good alignment, but there may be damage causing some slop and play in that assembly.

You may also want to sight down both sides of the car, from the front and from the back and compare how that corner sits with relationship to the other wheel on that side and the other side of the car. You might be able to SEE it. Especially with a couple helpers holding rulers across the rims, then sighting across them.

Just notice the same thing. I had a new rack put in & a alignment done. Now both front tires seem to be going bold on the outer edge. This is some crazy $#!t.....

When I took another look at my tires only the driver side was bad the passenger side
was still good, not as good as the back tires but not as bald as the drivers side. What
is causing this? Is it a bad alignment job or what?........

Same issue with mine, except it is the passengers front tire that is wearing (after i just spent $800 on Michelins). I'm told that the struts are gone and the strut bearings causing it to wear the outer edges, it'* going in tomorrow for that work. I don't even want to see the final repair bill, especially after the $1100 repair this summer from the lightning strike.
