changing tranny fluid and filter. Is the pan gasket re-usable ? Also any "best" brand fluid to use to avoid an problems. thank you

Gasket is reusable provided sealing surfaces are intact. The recommended transmission fluid is Dexron III. Torque spec for oil pan fasteners is 10 ft lbs. Fluid capacity spec is 7.4 quarts. (bottom pan removal)

usually the rubber gaskets are re-usuable but if they put a cork one in there i wouldn't.

gasket is heavy duty rubber covered metal at least thats what it feels like so i will clean and reuse. thank you for the torque specs. is penzoil fluid good or doesn't it matter brand wise. just checking because i know ometime certain brands are not liked. how about walmart brand ? thank you

I'd go with name brand trans fluid. Just my .02
