1. How hard is it to fix the value cover gasket?

the front takes 20 minutes tops, that was with cleaning the heck out of the mounting surfaces and valve cover.
the back is a BIG job compared to the front...DO NOT GET THE CHEAP GASKETS FROM NAPA. It says its for a series II but its for a series one.

I was smelling burning of oil or something coming from under
the hood. & per my pontiac dealership service guy I need
the value cover gasket change due to a leak. But did not say
if was from front or back........ :?
