Fuel Pump.....
 

Ive had this surging at part/medium throttle now for a bit and as of recently it has gotten worse. ANd tonight I had a hard start. It just cranked and cranked for 5 seconds. Turn key off, then on, then off, then cranked and it started right up. I still as of yet have gotten around to some real diagnosing after reading all the things it could be, coil pack arching; fuel pressur regulator; ground corroding issues; fuel pump; torque converter; etc. So I started, for $h!%s and giggles, to look up prices for parts. And Napa, Carparts.com list replacement fuel pumps going for $250-$500. :shock: Someone know where I can get one cheaper? SO I started to look at Intense and found these====

Walbro 255lph fuel pump for $125

Walbro Venturi Specific fuel pump for $129

These are considerably cheaper. But the years listed are not gonna work for 2001 Bonne. Would it work on an 01? Are these overkill for not having any mods except CAI? Just curious cause if it is the fuel pump that is a pretty serious dent in my fundage, just wanna get a gameplan incase its that. But hey atleast I dont have to drop the tank to replace it. 8)

The reason all the pumps you are looking at are so expensive is because it includes the entire "bucket" which is your fuel sender, pump etc. You can change only the pump. The Walbro is a high flow...however you should be able to find one w/o going high flow and change just the pump.

Simply called and asked them about their pumps. The high flow cost ~$80 and the regular pump for the truck was ~$40. Couldn't beat the price and both are performing amazingly.
