Default Tranny shift point question...

Hey guys, I noticed that my tranny holds first gear a little to long before shifting into second. Is there a way to change this so it goes into second sooner because it'* killing my gas mileage. No reason for it to be holding first gear when accelerating slowly.

Thanks

The only way that I know of is to have a dealership technician re-program the shift point with a Tech II scantool. That is provided there are no other problems with the transmission. I could be wrong though, maybe someone else chimes in here with another idea.
