Front struts on my bonnie
 

How tough is it to replace front struts? Average length of time? Special tools like a spring compressor? Is an alignment necessary afterwords? Brand recommendations?

Monroe Quick Struts Jay. About a 2 hour job. 3 or a little more if Beer or rusted nuts are involved. Nothing needed but a good ratchet set and some elbow strength. Rockauto.com is the place you wanna be for them, Jay. No alignment necessary if you dont move the toe. That's all the adjustment you have. While your down there. give the end links a good look over.
