Default 2000+ Turn Signal Flasher

I have cleared my taillights and rear turn lenses. I have replaced them with LED'*. My brake lights work & look great. My turn signals flash like there is a bulb burnt out and I know I need to change my flasher unit with a LED compatable one.

I hear the flasher clicking in the center of my dash, has anyone had to replace there flasher yet?

How hard is it to get at?

The turn signal flasher is integrated into the hazard flasher switch module. The flasher module is for both turn signal operation as well as hazard signal operation. It is removed by pulling out from dash. The hazard switch module is a snap out, snap in component. Not sure if you'll find an LED compatible flasher, but let us know if you do.

Do I have to pull dash panels, or will the hazard flasher switch pull out on its own?

Its funny, the turn signals flash too fast but the flashers flash perfectly. So I wonder if I'll have any luck finding a replacement.

get a hold of the air vent ****.....gently pull on those and the whole thing should come out for you....or use something to pry it out...just be carefull....

The easy fix to LED'* is to remove the 4 way flasher from the front of the dash. Open the flasher and you will see a 4.7 ufd capacitor (in the center next to the relay). Replace it with a 15ufd 50v capacitor from Radio Shack. No need to screw around with any load resistors.
