Floor Jack and Jack Stand Placement

Looked under the car this morning and did not see a good solid place to use a floor jack to jack the car up. I did not see a good solid place to put the jack stands either. What locations do you use when jacking up the car and placing the jack stands?

With the e brake set, place the floor jack in the front of the car. About 18" in there is a nice cross member there to lift on, place the jack in the middle of the cross member.
The car will come up quick and even (both wheels at once).
Place your jack stands at the back of the sub frame about where the front door meets the fender, there will be a big sub frame mount, you place the stand in front of this.
Leave the jack in place if you can for added safety. Also if your removing your front tires, place them under the car behind the jack stands (another safety measure).
I find the rear to be a lot tougher as my jack wont reach to the center cross member and I have to lift one side and then the other.

Thanks PDad I will try this tonight after I put my son to bed for the night.

It was really hard to tell what exactly was the frame and what appears to be a sheet metal skid pad or fiberglass.

The sub frame is blended into the cassis pretty well, the rear is even worse I think?
