They have a history of discounting me, and this being the third (and final) time this Bonnie will ever see the inside of this shop, I will demand it. Just wondered if aside from the flush, if the elbow replacement is an easy task.

ya the elbows are easy a lot better than the LIMs

Ok I am greg and I guess I forgot about this forum since my bonne is gone and have been on regal forums and trans am sites. Bill must have misheard me I will be in denver (60 miles north) at my buddy's shop putting my intercooler on and has a potential to be a massive 3800 event lol I got potentially 3 friends from the springs coming up to have a tune and hang out. You can email me at gojo83@hotmail.com and it will go to my phone u can also call me on the # bill sent u, I do work nights so mornings or after 9pm is the best time to catch me. I have a ton of spare non boosted parts if u would be interested u can call me till 9am this am and discuss things. Hope to meet u on friday and maybe if time allows maybe we can get ur car a quick scan.

Once you said the same basic state...I was good with it..lol

Heck..in CT and MA, nothing is more than a 2 hour drive.

Well, Bonnie is back in the stable, and I won't be driving her much as the warm weather is here. I should have asked them to save the old parts from the previous maintenance, but they did save the gasket and ring from the main seal where the tranny meets the engine block. It was so brittle, and in so many pieces, I'm not sure if it came off like that, they had to chip it off, or if they destroyed it to make their case. Either way, it was a bag of what looks like a half-full tube of Pringles after the tube had been dropped from two stories.

I am going to the local Community College to take some classes on advanced auto repair - I top out at changing brakes - that takes me all day, but I get it right :-) My daughter is going to inherit Bonnie someday (at least until she can get the Jeep she wants - LOL) and I want to know what's going on with any car I own. I am spooked with the experience of how GM does business. This whole DexCool CA laswuit was a joke (I would have made $50 if I had filed), but would submit to my fellow GMsters. With an experience like this, excluding the dealership, would you buy GM again? They say this is a 200,000 mile engine, but at 70,000, it is acting like an engine held together with rubber bands and duct tape.
