SSEI tranny swap
Hello all
I have noticed that my transmission has started to go the way of the dinosaurs.
i had my tranny flushed/filter synthetic fluid...the whole nine yards, but i think it'* been to the stoplight nationals once too many. So i have seriously been considering a tranny swap. My question to you is will a SSEI tranny work in a SLE. It would probably be coming from INTENSE..so i would not have a problem with quality, but making the PCM work with another tranny is a whole new ballgame. Any idea'* or thought'*
thanx

the SLE gearing is 3.05 and the SSEi is the 2.93, while it dosnet seem as its too much of a difference ther ealre alot of hard parts that are different.
i would just keep the current trans and rebuild with new hard parts, and possibly a shiftkit
