DRL bypass
I hate my DTLs is there any way to bypass them? I know if you have one high beam out they are dissabled. Will disableing them also disengage the automatic headlights?

years
Is this info for all years of bonnevilles? I have a 2000 SLE
|
That procedure is not applicable to your car. For 2000+ Bonnies you will have to remove the DRL relay in the underhood fuse block, then fabricate a jumper to be placed in the relay socket that was just vacated by the DRL relay. The jumper needs to be placed between terminals 30 & 87a in the socket. You just disabled your DRL's. Just one other thing, if you have perimeter lighting, you will lose the DRL function. Hope this helps, any questions just feel free to ask.

relayby pass
Which Relay is the DRL relay? So its really that easy?
I cant remember the numbers on the relay but aren't you saying to connect the middle contact to the output contact (that runs perpendicular to the imddle pin, and parallel to the activation pins) |

Yes, it is that easy. I followed Markwb's instructions (Thanks BTW!) and it works great.
