Thrasher Charged wants my car for CAI fabrication!
This is too cool. About 2 months ago I signed the guestbook at thrashercharged.com, located close to Kokomo, Indiana, and gave them a little info about my car. They have contacted me and want to use my Bonneville SSEi to mock up a new CAI for 2000+ Bonnevilles! I thought the chance to just help out and watch some of these guys at work would be cool enough. But they told me that after they receive their first batch of CAI, I will get one free of charge. Can't beat that!
I certainly don't want anyone here to think I'm bragging. I'm not. I just wanted to share the good news with everyone. And to my knowledge there has yet to be a CAI kit for the Bonneville so this will be a plus for all us Bonneville owners. Although I think I've heard the Grand Prix CAI is a pretty close match with a little modification.
So keep your eyes out for a new CAI at thrashercharged.com.
Later.
Matt

Yeah, I currently have a FWI with a 9" K&N and kinda hate to replace it. But I doubt there will be much, if any, change in performance. So with better looks and little to no performance loss, why not have my engine compartment look better? And the price is right.
Like I said, I'm just glad that our Bonnies are starting to get noticed.
