Default supercharger stuck on!*UNSTUCK*

hey ya'll , im in the middle of changing my LIM gasket again. i got the TB off, took off all the supercharger bolts, and yanked and shook the hell outta my supercharger, its not budging. i just remembered somebody saying to smack it with a rubber mallot to loosten it while i was eating dinner. if that doesnt help, any suggestions? crowbar?

If that doesn't loosen it up, double check to be certain that you didn't miss a bolt or two. I was having a similar problem with a LIM, then I noticed that I had missed removing a bolt.

nope, double checked that. it seems i was a bit overzealous the last time i did this. i "glued" it shut with black RTV, so i had to crowbar the supercharger off. i did it on the actual housing, not the snout. popped right off. got the LIM off in a similar fasion(no damage to either) and put it on right this time. took out the o2 sensor and it looked like somebody put mud on it. no wonder it was sending a code. ill put the new o2 in and call it a night, ill finish the rest tomorrow.

This is the 2nd time you've had to replace the gaskets?

Not exactly uncommon. I changed them three times on my 99. Total of four different sets of gaskets on that car during the time I owned.
