Default Automatic Climate Control

I want to replace the manual controls in my 2002 with an automatic climate control (Opt CJ2?). Does anyone know if this is a straight forward conversion, if it is possible, and if I need any parts.

Thanks!

Mike

The 2000 models probably work the same way.

I Pm'ed Pdad to check on the schematics. I will probably bid on the item anyway since it is fairly low and if it works great, if not, relist!

Thanks Fuddy!

in case you're wondering (and you're probably not) this did not work. The wiring harness for the automatic climate control is COMPLETELY different. If anyone is interested in a used 2000 Pontiac Bonneville automatic climate control (Option CJ2) let me know...

Well, I was sort of wondering. When I read the original post, I thought maybe it could be done, but with quite a bit of surgery & improvising. The Automatic Climate Control incorporates many other features, controls, sensors that the Manual Climate Control does not seem to have. Sorry it didn't work out.
