power steering flush
my power steering pump is making noise and I am thinking it is time to flush it and as much of the bad fluid out that I can and get the good stuff back in there. I am thinking turkey baster or the like. Is there a line I can disconnect and have gravity help me. I got shop access this weekend so A quick help would be great. TIA

Before flushing, check your accessory belt tensioner. See if the indicator is in the proper tension zone.
If the tensioner gets weak, the belt will slip, causing PS pump noise. Bit me last year. Flushing PS fluid typically isn't a fix. It'* either going to be a bad pump or bad belt tension.

Willren is right, if the pump is noisy a flush will not likely help it. If it is low on fluid though, filling and bleeding it may quiet it down. If it'* low there is probably a leak somewhere.
