Default Wheel Hubs on 2005 SLE

Just had my hubs replaced at 33k miles!! Is that normal they go out this soon? They only replaced the front ones, when can I expect the rear ones to take a crap?
Good thing I was still under warranty.

Do you know why they were replaced? A lot of the time they are replaced because the wheel speed sensor (WSS) goes bad, and it is contained inside the hub.

Dealer told me they were loose.

There has been a few on this forum to have them crap out early, but I wouldn't say it'*
a common failure. Seems odd that both would fail at the same time. Did the dealer notice the problem when fixing something else or did you have a compaint/issue that resulted in this diagnosis?

Took car in to have the front-end aligned, -that'* when they found the hubs to be slightly loose....

30k seems a bit soon, how do you drive?
Hit curbs hard?
Saw the steering wheel back and forth pretending to be Denny Hamilin?
Off road mud bogging?

Lost my first around 40k, drivers side, passenger side another 10k.

My brother works for a car parts distributor....he says the GM hubs go early and often on all models (not just Bonnies). 6 weeks into this year they had sold over 80 (Niagara Falls, NY area). From his experience, my personal experience, and those I've seen on the forum, I would say yes, this is common. But I agree that 33k is the soonest I've ever heard of.
