Get down on the ground, put a jack under one of the wheels or on the frame to jack up the car[makes it much easier] Otherwise, just get underneath and remove the wireing from the back of the bulb, just the same as you would with the headlights, twist clockwise on the bulb and itll come out. Replace in the opposite order.

if it is an SE, remove the headlight from the same side as the fog light, from there you can reach down at the back of the fog light

BTW..it would help tremendously if you put your year and model in your signature under profile.

Thanks

If you have a garage handy and one of those spot lamps used to illumination, I just set it infront of the fog light and basically cooked the light then it came out. Otherwise, give it a few good trys, if it breaks, just take the fog housing out and remove the broken parts accordingly. The bulb will break before the housing will FYI.

The other way to change that fog light is as follows. Get under the front bumper (no jacks needed). Remove the two 10 mm nuts that secure the fog light assembly to the bumper, feed the fog light out through the front, disconnect the electrical connector. Now you can remove the old burnt out capsule, it'* a breech lock type fixture. Don't handle the new capsule with bare fingers, use a tissue if you have to touch the glass part of the capsule. I would recommend replacement of both fog lights.

i agree you will never get t out if youy do not remove the whole lense. you will also have to take the adjusment nut off as well as the 2 nuts.

On an SLE/SSEi... I changed one out by reaching up from underneath. 2 minutes.

Which model are you guys talking about pulling the assembly out of?
