The weather stripping on the 2000 SLE is pulled away from the A-pillar alllowing the driver of the car to get a shower pretty much anytime it rains. Very annoying! It almost looks to me like forced entry? The strip is pretty much stuck that way. if I push firmly on the weather strip, I can get it to go back to where it'* supposed to be, but as soon as I let go it curls back over like seen in the picture. Is there anyway to get the shape back the way it'* supposed to be, or is it probably perminently damaged? I don't think gluing would be a good idea just because if you ever wanted to replace it.... yeah. Are the weather seals relatively cheap?

If it'* just weatherstripping you can get specific glue for it. I have some and it works well.

A couple of ideas. Pull it off far enough so the bent bead is clear of the pinch weld so you can work with it. Does it have a wire embedded along the edge? If so, maybe you can just bend it back into shape and then push it back into position. If the bead that is bent is made of some kind of plastic instead of embedded wire, you might try carefully, slowly, heating it up with a heat gun or hair dryer and when it starts to soften, bend it back straight the way it should be.
