Fuel Pump
I was wondering is GM Parts Direct www.gmpartsdirect.com would be a good place get a new fuel pump from? I have a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi and I need to replace the fuel pump due to stalling starts. I had the dealer check out the car and he told me I need a new fuel pump because it is going bad. I recently replaced the fuel filter, is there anything else I need to order for replacing the fuel pump. Also concerned why is the supercharged fuel pump less than the basic one?

I would also check your fuel pressure on the fuel rail before you start spending the big money replacing the fuel pump. I would bet your problem is something other than the pump.

ya check the pressure between 48-52 psi using this procedure
Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF for 2 seconds.
Turn the ignition OFF, for 10 seconds.
