Front Door Water Leak
Well after the rain (for those of you in ne WI you know it rained all night pretty good) open the back door to put something in the back seat to see boom puddle of watter on the floor behind the driver side seat. After looking at it, it seems to be the peice of rubber on the top of the driver side door. There is a very small gap towards the end of the top of the door that just doesn't seem to snug up with the door. Does anyone have a gm part number or any alternatives? I have to park outside with no cover so any help here would be great with another batch of rain on the way.

I should add that I would guess its the weather stripping on the door because when I took it to my gfs house to check everything out, I put water on the car to see the leak. When I opened the door the weather stripping that is on the body(not the door) was wet. So I guess I am assuming that means the weather stripping on the door is failing because that stripping on the body is wet.

Yea I looked at that, but I know its not that. When I was driving home last night in the rain I felt two drops of water on my left arm. I thought since it was pooring out maybe it got wet a bit cause it was only two drops of water. So when I ran water over the door then opened it the rubber seal on the body at the top was all wet. So did some further looking and it seems that the weather stripping on the top of the door towards the end of the door, doesn't seems to be sealed up to the body like it should. So that'* why I think it isn't this but maybe im wrong.

I know with mine, I can pull the seal off at the bottom of the door all the way up to the top and reset it in. Then at the bottom of the door sill, is like a quarter inch gap. Seals tend to shrink and pull away from their normal position.

Ok, but again I think it'* the top not the bottom as when I poor water over the door then let the water run off. I'll open the door and the seal that runs along the body for the whole door is we on the top only. I'd say about 8in portion of it is very wet, so that'* why I think it'* that rubber seal that runs on the top of the door. I went to advanced and autozone and I was told "geeeeee I've never seen that before I don't know what it is" lol
