Question Car hestitant to start after previously been warmed up

My 2000 Bonneville fires up right away when cold. But take it somewhere to go shopping. Get back to the car and turn the key it turns over but kinda sounds flooded kinda. Other times it will start. My brother said could be alot of things. He said try Gumout first. Could be bad gas and moisture. Since now the tank is only half full. Figured to tap it off tomorrow with premium.
Could be plug wires or plugs? I have no warning lights. Last warning light was check tire pressure. Tires Plus fixed all that and reset it. No warnings. Other then traction control button will pop on once in a while hitting a pot hole driving around Milwaukee. I had a mass airflow sensor replaced like 4 months ago in the fall. Beside many other things. I read a few other articles here that were similar. I didnt check the battery yet. But the gauge is well over 14. Also read to turn the key just to on so the fuel pump is ready then turn it all the way. I didnt try that yet. Will do that tomorrow after filling up with gas and few other pit stops. Plus I dont put many miles on it daily. My bro told me to get out on the highway and pound on it and get the carbon out.

Could also be the IAT sensor. There'* a trouble shooting guide in the tech info area under trouble shooting and testing.

It ended up being the fuel pressure regulator.
