171 Fuel Trim lean

In most cases this is a vacuum leak. Start your engine and spray carb cleaner around all the hoses and connections, be sure to get the EGR tube as well. If the RPM goes up, you found the leak.

Tread moved to correct area.

The vacuum hoses are pretty much located near the top of the motor. They are either rubber or semi rigid plastic. Find a hose, spray it. The carb cleaner is not going to damage anything. Just keep it from spraying directly down the throttle body and don't be too liberal with it. All you need is a quick shot here and there.
