no problem running w/o supercharger?
about a week or so ago, I noticed my car was slower than usual. I go under the hood to find the SC belt is missing!? Immediately I was confused, upset, and to say the least very angry, considering I had it changed in May. I knew something was wrong before hand I just didn't know what?
Anyway, I took it up to the place where I had it done and they told me some more upsetting news, I had one broken pulley and another on it'* way out. So I'm now thinking of fixing this problem or just leaving it be for awhile, I don't like broken things on my car don't get me wrong but, I really doesn't effect anything else and I hardly ever speed anyhow,
What are the long term affects if any and will this hurt or help the gas mileage? I don't see any rush in fixing this problem except for the fact of having a functional SC.
Should I ignore/put off this or just fix it right away?

I just ran mine for a month or so without the belt. Same exact thing. Tension pulley seized up which through out the idler pulley. It didnt cause any problems for me, But I would fix it soon. I got 21mpg vs 29mpg. My commute is all high way. So you are getting way worse gas milage by my experiance. which makes sence. without the SC working the housing isnt nearly as free flowing as a standard intake, what with the SC padals in the way.
If you have a schucks/kragen they stock the pulleys and the SC belt. $20 for each pulley and $35 for the GATOR belt. Buy the Gator belt. its much better. You wont break that one.

Which pulley went out on you? I have a over sized idler and I also have a stock sized gatorback belt that I ran for about a year. I can let them go cheep. I might also have a stock idler, I would have to look.
