Bonneville Questions
 
I have 5 . 2000-2002 . 3 kids in college . I plan on sticking with this line for a few years , Its the most practicle. I will be on here looking for good knowlege and hope to find some people passionate about Gm as i am . 3800 is probably my main base. Any help with info is great . Right now im looking at salvage 2000-2003 bonnevilles. Id love to have some kind of reference chart of year to fit transmissions. my 2000 trans. my be failing.What years fit? I have 2, 2001 SSEI What year trannys will fit If I were to buy a sallvage vehicle

Hi... 5 is a lot. Even I haven't had that many before..

The transmissions in those years can be a little tricky. Some 2000's had internal and some had external range switches. This is relatively easy to overcome thought. The 2003 is a one year only trans as it's got a few changes etc in the way it was wired.

The usual way I look up cross compatibility is to use car-part.com to try and locate the part I need, then see what other cars/years it has in the listing.
