Did you check the circuit breaker (position 56 in the panel under the rear seat) to make sure it'* not tripped?

Never mind, the circuit breaker controls both seats. If the passenger seat is working the circuit breaker is okay.

There are two nuts under the front edge of the seat (10 mm wrench) that hold the seat cushion down. Remove the 2 nuts, lift the front of the seat cushion, and you will see a seat control module. Check to see if the module on the driver seat is the same as the module on the passenger seat. If they are the same, switch them. If the problem moves to the passenger seat you found the problem.

If that doesn't work, next step is to pull the driver'* seat (not difficult to do) and examine the condition of the ground buss located under the carpet beneath the driver'* seat.

Default power seat problem

Thanks Roy! I always need a starting point rather than start tearing things apart wildly. Is there any way I can move the seat back manually?
Thanks again

If you pull the seat to check the ground buss, you should be able to reposition the positioning brackets on the bottom of the seat manually. Look for the mechanism that drives the adjustor, unbolt it, reposition the stationary brackets (the ones that bolt to the floor) and re-attach the drive mechanism. Make sure the left and right brackets are in the same fore/aft position or you won't be able to bolt the seat back down.

If you are pulling the seat, the only tool you will need that you might not have is a socket with a torx driver ... I think it'* a T55 but I am not really sure. Let me know if you want me to check what size it is on my car tonight. The plastic brackets that cover the front and rear bolts that anchor the seat to the floor just pull/pry off. Just do it carefully so you don't break them.

If you pull the seat, take the opportunity to clean and re-lubricate all the moving parts under the seat. I use a which lithium grease for that, but that is just a personal choice.

Front drains are a pain because they are in two pieces, and come apart where you can't get at them. I did a post a while back on how to replace them. Let me know if you can't find it.

I found the write up I was thinking about on how to replace the front sunroof drain tubes:
