Automatic headlamp sensor

Greetings from Czech republic, i suppose there is same thread on this forum but i did find it guys. I got problem with my headlights. They are still on even during the day but sometimes they switch back to DRL. I suppose it is caused by automatic headlamp sensor. Next problem is that it causes that all interior lights are on even during the sunny day so battery is under heavy load and i cant have my doors open for long time if i do some cleaning in interior and so on. I wanted to replace that sensor so i removed the dashboard but there was not any way how to proceed and replace that damn thing. I searched the whole web but i did not find how to replace it. Does anybody have instructions how to proceed please? Video or pics would be awesome:) Thanks

Maybe, have you tested the sensor yet?

This is not the ambient light sensor. Interior lights always on sounds like the switch in the headlight control, bad relay, and/or bad door switch. Try troubleshooting by pulling the appropriate fuses first.

I believe you turn it a quarter turn then it will come off the inside of the dash. Disconnect wires then reverse the process with the new sensor.

Glad it worked!

Well, next step will be transmission. I hear weird noises from engine department during accelartion on the side where tranny is. Also tranny kicks during shifting gears sometimes and accelaration is not as used to be. I suppose it needs remanufacturing. Could you help me with transmission and motor mounts, please? I checked rock auto but i cant figure out how many mounts and which ones i need for engine and transmission. Thanks

First step would be to figure out which mounts are bad. Replacing a bunch of mounts for no reason wouldn't help the core issue.
