Anywhere online reputable place to get 4T65-E tranny?
 

Finally had 4th gear go out in my 2000 SSE, and I really don't have much to choose from out here in the sticks as far as shops go. Finding someone to put a new one in wouldn't be hard but everyone will want an arm and a leg for the parts.

Also, if I were to find a 4T65-HD would that work in the car?

Easiest place to work with will be Morad Parts Company. They are based out of Ohio, ship everywhere and specialize primarily in 3800's. They know our cars inside and out.

Yeah Id say Morad, only thing was I bought a motor from there earlier this year, a SC Series II and within two months of having it installed I was replacing the crank and cam sensors, supercharger bearing needed to be replaces, and this was from a motor with only 70K on it. They are really good for specific parts though, like steering wheel controls and odds and ends
