Found water leak, drivers side column
Heyas
Found the leak in my Bonn - driver side door column, just below the hood latch.
The source of the leak is a drain hole in the upper firewall, right below the hood'* hinge. Photos below.
Even tho water seems to drain out fine under the door, I'm guessing from all the visible leaves and crap, that some of it went into the hole and blocked something.
Does anyone know how I can access this area?
I think I need to pull the front wheel off and remove the plastic housing around the wheel well.
Cheers.

yeah that'* what i did - unclipped the plastic wheel housing liner and gained access to the drain holes in the frame. i'll post some pics, but i found where the leak is. there'* a bad seal that'* impossible to get to. i wiggled my fingers around and could barely touch it. i will stuff paper towel in there to dry it out then [somehow] stuff silicone in there.
thanks for the replies.

Photo below.
Water is supposed to drain out of the holes...and it does but the lowest hole is still above the joint (in red). So the water pools around the join and seeps in. The grey paint is where I re-primed the holes I widdened.
I'll stuff some silicon in through that rectangular opening (upper right, foam visible)
