Default New Brakes

I finally got around to getting new rotors and pads for Bone Evil.

I went with stock rotors and Ceramic pads, the pads are a great improvment over stock and the stock rotors allowed me to keep the costs down.
Only 200 miles since install but so far the rims are dust free

I just replaced my stock rotors and pads also. I went with a ceramic pad also. They are much better than stock and not dusty at all.

Besides the lack of vibration and dust, can you feel an increase in braking torque or is it about the same. :?:

Paul, when I switched to ceramic pads, the braking improved slightly, but I attribute that to the slots. The big advantage of the ceramic pads is that they don't fade with heat. They actually seem to bite harder.

True, I dont notice any increase in braking force or learching, just nice solid smooth brake action. Just been around town for the most part so havent got into any heat yet.

From what I've seen here with the 2k+, the answer seems to be yes so far. The 92-99 CANNOT do it with stock rotors. That'* confirmed.
