well, when i compare my rear seat room to the amount of room in my parents lesabres' back seat, theirs has a bit more room, at least five inches of leg room. i can stretch out in the back of theirs but not mine.

Good write up, excellent read 8)

Lets here about how good that automatic climate system is in a few months ;)
More like.
Crazy, idiotic, no ryme or reason, but not automatic, I have always run mine in manual :(

Really... Had some problems with the auto part of it eh? Oh that sucks for me then, I will run it manual I know a guy in my city with a 2001 Bronzemist Bonneville SLE and he has no problem with his... But maybe I will or maybe I won't... I like it better than the manual system its looks like the one of my 90 Grandprix but flipped the other way (not a good thing)...

I wonder if this climate control unit would work in the Bonneville too? It's the same size I think, and works much better. I hate the climate control on the Bonneville too.. I hate having to scroll to get the settings i want (repeatedly pressing the "mode" button.) With this one, you can turn the fan to auto/manual just by pressing the knob, same with the mode.. I love the rora climate control so much better. ;) Only issue I see is that the passenger temp button is located on the passenger side door and not on the unit itself. :(

I agree... Stick with what you got man!

I took the SLE on a very tight and loopy backroad and boy was I impressed the cars conduct was good, it handled light and crisp. Gave me touring sedan feedback I was truly impressed! I understand why Pontiac is "Fuel for the Soul" people complain about the Bonneville all the time and tonight when I was climbing hills and flying through coners not once did I wish I was in anything else (well maybe a GXP) but my SLE is just a fine sports sedan, try that in you Avalon... And no it won't have that same OHV 3800 rumble when you fire em' up! I am glad I got this car, why do reviewers like MT and C&D give it such bad reviews? I thought this was the best handling car I have ever driven, oh and the 4T65E took care of gear changes with presion, and the 3800 came alive to my delight past 3500rpms pulling hills... Wow what a rush and a fun touring sedan! :D  Comments? Oh and here are my new photos of it check em here...
