insterment cluster question
I guess by what i have read here it looks like i need a new cluster. my speedo stopped at 90 mph, it acts like 90 is really 0. the speed advances correctly from there and the cruise still works to but it wont return to zero. I found one on ebay but it looks like it came from an 2004 sle and I have an 2005 se. Can someone tell me if it will work. thanks

Several of the gauges went out in my 04 SLE. I looked on Ebay for a replacement cluster but the Odometer on the replacement ones were much higher than I had on my car (over 100,000 vs the 50,000 I actually had on mine). I found that it was actually just the stepper motors that turn the needles on the gauges that were bad. Bought a set of six for ~$40 shipped on ebay. Unsoldered the bad ones and replaced. So far so good. Speedo, fuel and volt went bad on mine. ebay site

BTW the instrument cluster board on the 04 and 05 SLE is a hard one to find. Took me almost 4 months last year to find one.

Well actually you can put an SSEi cluster or SLE one in for that matter, you won't be able to cycle through the DIC messages and won't have all the DIC info the SSEi would have but all the gauges will work by just dropping it in, however you cannot take the milage chip from your SE and put it in the SSEi cluster, the DIC will just be blank
